Believe it or not, January 15th marked Austin's 6-month 'birthday'. It seems like just yesterday we were in the hospital trying to prevent him from coming early. In just six months what started as this:
Has grown into this:
Life is truly amazing to say the least.
Austin is still doing great and thankfully there continues to be a lack of news to report. The next big obstacle will be surgery to repair his cleft palate, which won't take place until he's 20 lbs. (He's about 13 1/2 today).
Here's a few recent pictures from the holidays:
Cheering on the Seahawks during the New Orleans game. He watched intently for most of the first half, waited until half time to eat, but fell asleep in the second half. It was a good effort though.
Trying out his Christmas present from Grandma and Grandpa Yurina. Still a little ways to go until he can get the full effect.
Trying his best to fit in with the local wildlife in Yelm (w/ Uncle Josh)
First Christmas with Grandpa, Grandma, and Great Grandpa (my side of the family). He was tuckered out from all the fondue and present opening.
Until next time,
R, J, and A
So glad he's doing well. Can't wait to meet the little dude!
